aka wave

Edgar Weltens aka Wave is a Dutch music producer and performer based in the south of Spain.

In his earlier years Wave spent a lot of time exploring different genres and perfecting his craft as a producer. Eventually he had to come out of the studio and take his music to the stage.

As he did not want to follow the route of most producers and become a DJ, he looked for other techniques to perform his music and offer a more organic live alternative. After some investigating he decided to go for a technique called Live Looping.

Over the years he has developed a system that allows him to make music live on stage similar to the way a producer would do in the studio.

He has gone through several versions of his own custom build live rig.

With this technique he has performed at many breakdance events. He has traveled all over Spain and numerous international locations.
